Bridal Inspiration - The Bohemian Bride

Free Printable Makeup Inspiration Sheet, just click on the photo and right click print.

Kate Moss' wedding.  Juliet Veil.
The Bohemian (Boho) Bride is someone who is free spirited, a deep romantic and loves an organic look.  Makeup is either barely there or a soft warm medium toned smokey eye.  With a flush of blush on the cheeks and stained berry lips.  Eyebrows are full and groomed.

The hair is worn soft and wavy. Typically down, but can be seen in braids or in a messy up do too. Instead of the traditional veil, flowers, head bands, and earthy elements are worn instead. The newest trend in bohemian veils are the Juliet Veil, made popular by Kate Moss.
Dresses are light weight, drapey, and have a vintage flare.  Fabrics are often in silk charmeuse and tulle, organza, and with sequin or floral embellishments.  Often you will see cap sleeves, ruffles, and dresses from short to long, sleek to a-line.  And you will see these dresses in every color other then white such as peach, powder blue, cream, rose, butter, grey, and beige.

Flowers are not your traditional roses.  Instead Boho brides use herbs like lavender, wild flowers and antique brooches handed down from family members or found at antique shops.

The Boho bridal look, I believe, is a state of mind.  Its and eclectic mix of what is old and what is new.  It's a personal touch on earthy meets vintage.  It truly is one of the most romantic bridal looks with little fuss and big wow.
